Thunderbird Inbox folder, all Emails are gone after VIRUS SCAN
Hello!
I just bought the Bitdefender total security and performed a Virus Scan, after finishing the Scan all my emails were gone from the Inbox folder of my thunderbird email client.
I performed the "repair" option for the Inbox folder, but did not help.
Is there a way how I could recover my emails?

There are 2 cases and both of them depends on your thunderbird configuration.
1) If you have configure thunderbird to only delete message from thunderbird inbox when you click delete and not from your original web mail service provider : In this you can uninstall and reinstall thunderbird and resynchronize the email account again.
2) If you have configure thunderbird to also delete message from your original web mail service provider when you delete it from your thunderbird : In this case the only possible option that may help is to lodge a missing emails report with your email service provider. There is very little chance of getting your emails back. But sooner you lodge a missing email request, the better chances of email retrieval.
