I installed these settings, no unnecessary notifications.
1. The main antivirus window -> settings -> basic -> special offers -> off.
2. The main antivirus window -> settings -> basic -> recommendation notifications -> off.
3. The main antivirus window -> tools -> profiles -> automatically activate profile -> off.
4. Antivirus main window -> tools -> profiles -> public Wi-Fi profile -> enabled.
5. The main antivirus window -> firewall -> network adapters -> public.

Also in the properties of your wireless network, set the encryption type to - AES

Funny, that this issue also seems to be with Bitderfender Total Security in 2024!
I am using WPA3 in one network and WPA2 in another network (AES) - and it still advises to change to secure Settings…?☹️0 -
