Switching devices from Total Security to Family Pack
My Total Security subscription expires on 1 January. I renewed on the 29th by upgrading to the Family Pack.
In my BitDefender app and BitDefender Central, I still see the TS licences, with 5/5 devices protected, and a Renew Now request, even though the FP is right there on the same profilee. The FP shows 0/15 devices protected.
I've downloaded the new version and tried to install on 2 devices, but it's not doing anything (apart from asking if I want to allow it to make changes to my device). Like, literally no activity is showing, no notification that BitDefender is already installed, no awareness that this is a different licence, no unpacking or checking existing files, nothing in Task Manager. I thought it would automatically overwrite the existing installations, or ask if I wanted to switch them to the FP licence, but it hasn't.
I understand that the product is up to date, but what happens on 1 January when the TS licence expires - will the product automatically switch to the FP licence or will my devices suddenly be unprotected?
