Antivirus Pane Missing from Protection Features

For some unknown reason the Antivirus Pane has gone missing from Protection Features. BD is still running on startup and I'm getting the occasional web-site blocked to BD seems to be working.

I noticed about two days ago that BD/Macrium Reflect gave warnings regarding Macrium Image Guardian. I had previously ordered exemptions to these files, so when the notification pop-up appeared I assumed that I'd just have to re-enter them in exemptions. This is NOT possible because the Antivirus Pane has gone AWOL.

Does anyone have any ideas. Should I hang on in the hope that the Pane returns?

Thanks

  • It seems so normal to everyone... makes feel dumb :(

    I must miss something but don't see what...

    In the "User Manual" it is referred to (page 14):

    I have the same screenshot as @Monty1948

    I also cannot figure out if my virus base is updated or not? If the "real-time protection" is on or off ...

    It is so confusing!

    @Sharzeh ,

    Welcome to the Bitdefender. If you look at the screenshot, you will see that the scroll column bar is not at the top. Scroll up, and you will see the Anti-Virus component. It is always at the top left of Protection.

    I hope this helps. Have a great day.
