Bitdefender vs VLC media player

Hi!
Not sure if this is a correct place to ask. Still... I'm having an issue with BD while playing m3u files with IPTV channels. After approx. 5 minutes of playback it causes Windows to fall into BSOD, displaying driver_irql_not_less_or_equal pointing to a bddci.sys.
At this point, it happens only with VLC, other media players are not affected or the issue is undiscovered.
So, I already went through support line and it ended up with windows reinstall...Yet it still didn't fix the issue. So I'm stuck...Dunno what's causing it. During my support session I was told, that my system is so bugged it causes BD to crash. New OS and still the same issue. Need some advice where to begin from.
