Error Msg: Hmm, We're Having Trouble Finding That Site

BD is preventing me from accessing most of the sites I ordinarily visit.
The issue doesn't happen 100% of the time - but literally - most of the time.
I'm sure this must be a simple setting - I just can't seem to find it.
I contacted BD via - Chat (several times) - the tech sent me a link How to Disable All Modules in BD - https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/28557/
I tried - but I found this to be a lengthy and overwhelming task
The issue - I am taking an online course and BD is blocking virtually all the screens so the learning application is unable to access and review my progress.
I have not been able to work on this learning project for several days.
I'm new to BD - 2 months - previously, I owned ESET (5 years) - another great product - I never had a problem. I was happy with ESET - I decided to try BD has better reviews - BD has been finicky since day one.
