VPN Slowing my internet

Hi

My usual download speed is around 650mb, however when i turn on VPN it slows to around 100MB. Is this the norm or can i change a setting or something as it seems VPN is throttled.

I don't want to use my pc without the VPN as that would defeat the purpose of having it.

Any help appreciated

    I have the same behavior with 1GB infrastructure, very slow speed when VPN turned ON. Licensed VPN. Waiting for support

    What's the point of using VPN is it is going to degrade my connection this much?

    Hey! So, I have the same problem. The BD VPN is my 3rd. All 3 of them slow my internet connections to a crawl. When I try to disconnect it, it keeps reconnecting automatically. I’m at the point where Idk why I even have the VPN? I am so tired of the aggravation that comes with it! Thanks, Andie
