Problem with root certificate : Bitdefender blocks POST-variables from a webform
Hello,
since a few weeks, users of the free version of Bitdefender aren't able to login to our application.
The reasons appears to be that Bitdefender is not adding the form-data (since $_REQUEST variables are empty).
This happens only when bitdefender is turned on and when traffic goed through HTTPS.
Thus, it appears that the root certificate of Bitdefender is blocking (as man in the middle) certain data (i.e. POST data) . Even a simple form with two input fields, gets blocked this way.
Which -of course- is a huge problem for our users. We have around 8000 users, and for now the only thing we can ask them is to uninstall Bitdefender.
Is anyone aware of this? Is there any solution to this?
