False positives. Sites blocked for expired certificates
I am repeatedly getting BD notifications that a webpage has been blocked as unsafe for expired certificates.
It is always the same webpage, https://cmsanalytics.yahoo.com. It belongs to CMS Analytics, a well known company. The access is apparently been blocked because the certificate is expired ( ?)
I checked the CMS Analytics website. It seems to be a legitimate, well established company dealing with financial data protection for major institutions. It also deals with ATM machine cash-handling security.
Is it perhaps a false positive?.Perhaps BD is overly sensitive. It is a good thing, but it can also be a downside when the warnings are too many and perhaps unjustified.
Can anybody comment on this?
Thanks

Hello @ittiandro ,
I can see that CMS Analytics official webpage is working just fine ( I'm referring to https://www.cmsanalytics.com/us/ ) , the one you have indicated it's indeed blocked. It doesn't seem affiliated, just naming is the same. And if is has expired/ unsafe certificates, that can/ might translate in security issues. Hence, Bitdefender is trying to protect your system.
cheers,
Mike
