Home Firewalls | Are they worth it?

I have been looking into 'personal' Firewalls from a Home User perspective. Are they worth it?

I run a small network with switches and servers that run basic File Services and General Game Servers and was looking into getting an independent Firewall in-between the WAN and general Network. i have an ASUS ROG RAPTURE GT-AX-11000 which just runs as a router/wap, it has an inbuilt Firewall with "port forwarding" but im not sure how good it actually is at detecting malicious traffic.-Is the inbuilt Windows Firewall on Windows Server enough to prevent DDOSing and network snooping?? Or i am being too "security conscious"
