Bitdefender broke my microphone

I installed the trial version of Bitdefender to test it before buying, but it broke my microphone.

I had the microphone monitoring disabled, because it's not something I care for, and day later I needed to make a call, but windows is pretending there is no sound from the microphone.

I uninstalled Bitdefender in hopes it fixes it, rebooted a few times, removed the device and still nothing.

I tested the microphone on a different pc and it works.

How do I fix this?

    More information is required to troubleshoot this and I would recommend reaching out to our Technical Teams for assistance. Please mention what kind of microphone do you use, how does that microphone connect, and if other applications were also installed that day and why do you believe Bitdefender is blocking the microphone.
