Unidentified device connected to my network

I've had bitdefender box 2 working for about a month or so and everything works great.

I've noticed that last night some generic Amazon Speakers connected to my network. I have no idea what these speakers are and have paused their internet connection. My question is - now that it's connected to network, does it have access to the rest of the network even though I've paused the internet connection? or does me pausing this device mean it is automatically disconnected from everything else on the network? How do I find out more about this device? right now it's just labelled 'new device'. In order to keep it from logging into the network do I need to change my password for the network now? I'm not sure how I block this device from everything else.
