New to the product, how long for scan and unresolved items

I just installed Bitdefender and started a scan. It's been going for 8+ hours and records 16 resolved and 23 unresolved items so far. Does the scan usually take this long? What are resolved and unresolved items.

Also, it says 423 Password protected; what are they.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi tas99, and welcome :)

Yes, the 1st System scan does take a while, but it will be faster on subsequent scans as the files become indexed. The article also shows how to speed up the scan.
