subtitles not showing up in prime videos
Hello,
Does anyone else have problem with amazon prime videos subtitles not showing up? I tried all the fixes available online without result, I'm suspecting that my bitdefender internet security blocked something. I would appreciate if anyone have any idea what I can unblock in bitdefender setting so the subtitles will be working again.
Not sure if this will be helpful but in firefox console whenever I try to turn the subtitles on in prime video, this message is generated:
A request to a non-origin resource was blocked: the Same Origin Policy does not allow remote resources to be loaded from „https://cf-timedtext.aux.pv-cdn.net/9ad0/0a2b/e65a/43a8-93b3-be1e70eeec79/fc95072a-0bbc-4704-8108-ff7cf1d69755.ttml2” (nieudane żądanie CORS). Kod stanu: (null).

Kindly temporary disable the real time protection of bitdefender (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/28557/) and check if the subtitles are showing up or not in prime videos.
If the subtitles do not show up, then the issue is from prime video end and you need to contact their support by visiting https://www.primevideo.com/help
If subtitles do show up after temporary disabling the real time protection of bitdefender, lets us know here.

Otherwise, try watching it in Chrome, in case something in Firefox broke that ability.
In Bitdefender, I would probably start by disabling the options in Protection/ Online threat prevention settings, refresh your browser and try the prime video again. You can also try disabling BD firewall and see if that helps. Or, go through all the options from mrmirakhur's link.

I tried disabling real time protection according to instructions provided by mrmirakhur, and I also tried the lifewire fixes unfortuntately it didn't work. But thank you for support.

Hey,
thank you for the reply, I finally found the source of the problem it was "acumbrellaagent" Cisco AnyConnect Umbrella Roaming service. All I had to do was to disable this service manually, and subtitles are working now.
