Time sync not working as specified is this controlled by bit defender?
I want my windows 7 professional laptop to update time with windows time every day. So I edited the specialpollinterval with regedit to 86400 seconds decimal this worked for three days then it returned to the previous setting of weekly but the special poll interval value that I have set is still correct. Does Bitdefender control this process in any way?

Hello.
Personally, i don't think that the Windows time sync is somehow connected to Bitdefender and that Bitdefender returns it to the previous setting.
Maybe @Alexandru_BD or @Mike_BD (they both work at Bitdefender) can give you the correct answer.
So, wait for their response.

While it is known that the procedure of editing the registry to correct the time is valid but you should always avoid that. Instead you should always check it via traditional method by selecting your own country in settings and then synchronizing it. Now since you have played with the registry, kindly have a look at these 3rd party software which may be able to help you.
