  • I believe that the underlying issue has something to do with a recent Windows Update and the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) that we use to render the Sign-in Window and other web-based components.

TDuballstar Not sure why this matters but CPA MBA

I see the MOD talking about the same solution over and over. That’s a cop out. I l wasted six hours tonight pouring over code, figuring this.

Bitdefender is a good company… AS LONG AS YOU PAY!!!!!!!!!

I found destructive code when you try to uninstall the FREE version.

I wasted six hours of my life figuring that out but I’ll be fine. I just feel bad for the MOD that keeps regurgitating the same bull…

Make no mistake. Bit defender is like a scorned ex-wife. If you try to remove it!!!!!!

It’s in the code clear as day.

The reason the MOD keeps saying the same fix is because the “repair” is designed very carefully as another hook. The want as much exposure to you as possible. Even thus they know they destroyed your pc on purpose.

I spent a lot of time on this. Everything I wrote is true. I’m sure this will get deleted the moment the MOD sees it but I already archived this through “Wayback” so I can taunt them once they remove it.

    Hello @TDuballstar,

I understand your frustration, but you do realize that this is an older thread opened back in 2022 where it's quite possible that you won't find the answers you are looking for?

Where should I start.. I think the first question to ask here is what are you actually trying to do? Install/uninstall Bitdefender, do you get an error/crash in the process, what is happening, more specifically? I'm asking because chances are, the issue you are experiencing is unrelated to what was reported on this thread more than 2 years ago.
Should you wish to elaborate and tell us what's really going on, we'll do our best to help you out here.
But not on this thread, we won't be reviving it.

So, my kind request to you is to open a new thread, explain the issue you are facing in detail, keeping in mind these posting guidelines, and we can work together on this.

    Thank you,

    Alex
