Onboarding materials outdated - need help with Outbound emails not going through

Hello BitDefender

Followed the guide here - https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-135849-use-cases.html#UUID-50dd0591-46f5-038a-559e-ccdf2a42f5ac

I only did the port 25 as I'm really NOT a sys admin and didn't want to mess up the other ports by messing up somethng.

On the flip side now, other people within my domain can recieve same-domain emails, but tried it with an external Gmail and no one recieved anything. Also In the email monitoring portal I see no activity in the summary.

Would be really useful to have onboarding help

Edit: Looks like it went through but this happened

I guess it's looking dodgy since it goes through the portal. Anyway to increase the authenticity so it doesn't land in spam? (beyond the content of the email)

    Hello @Lorandre,

I've contacted the Enterprise Support Team and received an error from an engineer, stating the following:

"Looking at the MX records for user domain "divigas.com" It seems that he didn't complete the Email Security installation, so that's why there is nothing in the inbound email activity log, because there are no scanscope MX records added in his DNS to begin with.

The outbound messages will be marked as spam, because the SPF and DKIM/DMARC records are not properly configured.

I would advise him to follow this video guide and to open a ticket with us if he still encounters trouble."

Do keep me posted and let me know how the above works out for you.

    Best regards,

    Alex D.
