No interconnection, can't scan

This morning my phone showed AT RISK and to uninstall malware application. I removed AVG phone cleaner that I had for over a week on my phone. Bitdefender still won't let me do any sort of scanning, etc. It says there is no Internet connection, which there is, and my phone is still at risk. I shut my phone down and restarted it. No fix. Please help! Thank you
