When I connect Bitdefender box to the network I get the blue circle saying all is well, but if I try to connect the mesh node via LAN cable BD Box immediately drops internet.
why, and how do I fix that?

Your system is broken. I paid for Box & two subscriptions, total protection, & vpn, they worked fine for a few years, so I had no reason to ask for support.
now I need help, and bitdefender has completely hidden any meaningful method of getting support. What a rip off!!!

I tried following this link several times. The prompts ask the issue. I chose troubleshooting
the prompt asked what I am troubleshooting I reply ‘Bitdefender box’
then the app just does nothing.

I have tried several different combinations of answers to the first three levels of your alleged support process. Every time I try, at the third question the system goes into a loop of some kind, I see 3 balls rotating horizontally for as long as I can stay awake.
the process never offers e mail, chat, or phone support.
