On Android, VPN connects but no internet
After installing BitDefender VPN on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE phone and turning it on, the VPN connects to the virtual server but I get a notification that says:
"Network has no Internet access Private DNS server cannot be accessed"
The Internet is restored if I turn off the VPN. I've tried restarting the phone; uninstalling and then re-installing the app; both make no difference. I am at a loss as to what to try next. Any help would be very much appreciated.
This phone is running Android 12
