Is It Possible To Encrypt The IP On The Router's Firmware?

I use a VPN to help protect my network but I heard that it is possible to encrypt the IP on the Routers firmware? I am not a hardware expert and not sure if it is possible? Can anyone shed some light on this? or prove me with some resources to understand that if it is possible.

    Hello @Bob West,

    As far as the antivirus and the VPN are concerned, there's nothing in their construction that can do that. But using a VPN hides your IP address and encrypts all your internet traffic anyway, so I think this would be sufficient.
