Device log on not recognized

I get notices from my email and Facebook logons that the device logging on is not recognized asking confirmation that it was me logging on. Does the VPN cause my device log on's not to be recognized?

    This situation could be caused by a VPN connection. Check if the connection is active, disable it and try again to see if the behaviour changes. Let us know how it went.

    Hi @MsVPN

    As with what Alexandru said, this is one of the reasons I don't use VPN 24/7, especially at home on my home network. I would get too many of those, "is this you" emails from Amazon, banks etc. as your log-in is different due to the location of the VPN server. The only time I really use VPN is in a public situation, or if I'm just general web surfing.
