Can I add Windows Update to BitDefender's exception list?

Hello BitDefender community. I recently purchased BitDefender, I'm using it and it works wonders. It bothers me that every time there is a Windows Update being downloaded and/or installed BitDefender makes high CPU usage. In addition to being used by Windows Update, BitDefender also uses it. It's certainly working on Windows Update. I would like to add the list of exceptions, so I ask if there would be any harm in that, it is a safe source, from Microsoft, how could viruses come from such software?

I'm not completely sure how to answer this question, but it does sound interesting. My recommendation would be to ask our engineers. You can get in touch with our Support teams by choosing one of the contact methods available here:

If there's a way, they will be able to advise. If possible, kindly share your findings with us, I would like to find out more about this and I'm sure other members are interested too.
