Can't Install Bitdefender On PC. Any Advice?

I just downloaded Bitdefender and am trying to install it on my Windows PC. It asked me to uninstall Malwarebytes, Norton and System Shield. System Shield is part of Norton and as such unistalls as part of Norton and is not shown in Revo Uninstaller or my Windows 'Uninstall Programs' List. However, the Bitdefender installation still thinks it is installed as a separaate item and won't complete installation until I uninstall it which is impossible as it isn't there 😐️

You could try to fully remove Norton by using Norton Remove and Uninstall tool:

Also, after the uninstallation is done, for removing the leftovers from Norton, you could scan your PC for junk files and registry issues, and then clean/delete them, by using any optimization tools, like CCleaner, Glary Utilities etc.

After everything is done, you should restart your PC.

Thanks very much Gjoski, I gave that a go, I notice System Shield is also component of the Microsoft Installed antivirus but I tried the uninstall tool first and it worked a treat 😀
