VPN Activation issue

So my VPN client tells me to "activate to protect my connection". The problem is that my account already is activated. I've tried to uninstall the entire Bitdefender suite as well as the VPN client. The result is the same, "Activate to protect...". The problem might have connection with the fact that I changed subscription from Bitdefender family pack to Bitdefender Premium security.
