BitDefender keeps running unscheduled scans

I had scheduled daily Quick Scans and a weekly System Scan for a couple of weeks when I was having an issue with threats. I turned off all the scheduled Quick and System scans a week ago. BitDefender is now running Quick Scans several times a day, sometimes more than one at once, it appears. I can't get it to stop.

    Hi @JayAhl

    Were you able to resolve the threats? They could be doing something in the background. Otherwise, try running a repair, and see if that takes care of it for you.

    A repair would be the first thing to try. If this fails to solve the issue, then try to enable the profiles, temporarily.

    Open Bitdefender and go to Utilities -> Profiles and enable the Game, Work or Battery profile. When doing this, all scheduled scans will be postponed, at least until a solution to stop them altogether is found.

    Then disable this feature and check if the unwanted scans come back. If they do, head to the link below and contact our engineers for a more in-depth investigation and further assistance:
