remote access

Hello, I am trying to determine how to restrict access to my computer from other users on the same registration. That is a group purchase license.

While I understand that updates are important, the ability to "evesdrop" on any other group user should not be permitted. So, how do I turn this remote function off?

    Hello @Dwane,

    If you are the Central account holder and subscription owner, only you will be able to activate and manage your subscriptions, install protection, track your lost devices and run remote scans and optimizations on the covered devices. The owners of the other devices covered by your subscription/license cannot perform remote tasks on your device, or control security of any other devices under your Central account, they can only control their device security using the available features and modules in Bitdefender.

    Your Central account's main dashboard provides at-a-glance views of the current state of subscriptions and devices that need users’ attention and displays the remote actions that can be performed as well. This essential account feature cannot be disabled.

    However, if your device is covered by a subscription that belongs to someone else, they will be able to perform the actions displayed above.
