  • Hi!

    It shouldn't find so many files which can't be accesed. What kind of scan are you doing? In console?

    When you scan in normal mode, how many files does BD find with I/O errors?

    Andrei

  • In normal mod....I don´t know,because I´m tester from BitDefender Total Security and I haven´t got any information for the post.

    I see this,when BitDefender is scan system in safe mode,When you press "S",BitDefender Show results of the scan.

    In Vista,I haven´t got many permissions ,for example,when I want save some file on "Windows",or System32,the system show a error;

    You aven´t got permission for save the file on this ubication.

    Is this for that reason?

  • What version of BD are you using?

    Andrei

  • At the moment BitDefender Total Security,but in the moment of I/o Errors BitDefender 10 Internet Security

  • I/O errors persist with BTS too?

    Andrei

  • In safe mode I don´t know how scan the system with BD11,because the command for BD10 don´t work.For know this,I need make a nerw scan with BD11 in safe mode,but I don´t know the commands.You can tell me the commands?

  • Hi!

    If you want to scan in safe mode, first open a command prompt and type in the following commands:

    cd x:\Program Files\Common Files\Softwin\BitDefender Threat Scanner

    where x is the letter of your system partition. Then you can scan the system via bdc.exe, with the same patamters you used before.

    Andrei

  • Ok.Thank you. At the moment, I can´t paste the reports or results,but tomorrow I paste the results.GoodBye

  • Glad that I could help you!

    This is excesive.I´m in a admin account,but...I don´t open all folders,for example,when I want save some file on Windows folder or System32,Vista speaks me;

    You haven´t got permission for save files on this ubication.¿You can save the document on "Documents"?

    GoodBye.

    Pd;The image is when the scan not finish,I cancel the scan,because it´s very long time.... :mellow::huh:

  • Hy!I found the solution.Windows Vista,hasn´t got activate account "Administrator".The admins.accounts,hasn´t got all privilege from "Administrator" accounts.I enlabe this accounts,and make some scans in tihs accounts,and the number of I/O Errors are very slow(5-20).Thank you fro all help,I´m using BitDefender from 7 version...Standard and today I have a Beta(and license from Internet Security).Thank you fro all support,BitDefender and you are the best.Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
