Notifications Don't Always Show

Hello,

I'm new to Bitdefender and still learning how things work. About half the time when I click on Notifications, on the Antivirus Plus dashboard, the Notifications page opens and displays properly. Other times the Notifications list appears only after waiting 10 seconds or so, and other times it never appears. When that I happens I have to close Bitdefender and reopen it again after waiting a few minutes, sometimes more than once, in order to see the list of Notifications.

Is there some trick to getting Notifications to appear reliably and promptly ? I'm using Windows-10 Pro. 21H2, 64-bit with the latest version of Bitdefender AV Plus (26.0.32.123).

    Hi @Vic B.

    I tried to replicate this issue on my Windows 7 Pro PC running AV+ with the same, latest version as you, but the notifications loaded normally without any pauses.

    Since it sounds like it's a newer install? I would suggest running a Repair. It could have just been something with the initial installation, but the repair option seems to solve a lot of these type of issues.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the uninstall / re-install, but the problem persists. Maybe it'll disappear when I upgrade Win-10 from 21H2 to 22H2, which I plan to do soon. In the meantime I can just live with it. It's not that huge a problem.

    Hi Vic,

    You're welcome :) The next step would be to do a complete uninstall or contact support and go through the log file submission thing etc, which even I don't get to excited about doing. Sometimes these things do take care of themselves. It could even be in another PC restart or a Bitdefender update. At least your protection is running smoothly, and you're getting your updates, which is the main thing to be concerned about :)
