How to fully close Bitdefender agent

Hi All,

I have t take an online exam from home and have to run a system check to do so. Several applications have to be closed and one of them is Bitdefender agent. Disabling the shield in the advanced section of the Antivirus function doenst do the trick.

How do I close the Bitdefender agent?

Hi @avdl

Bitdefender Agent holds and maintains many of the background settings, controls etc. of Bitdefender, and is not part of what can be disabled from the Dashboard/UI. It can only be uninstalled if you were to uninstall your Bitdefender security products themselves.

Hi Scott, Pearson UV Says I need to disable the Agent and Safepay, how do I do that. Do I need unistall the whole Bitdefender.I have Bitdefender total Security Build 26.0.33.137. Regards

For what you need to do, including no Safepay, you would need to totally uninstall Bitdefender (from Apps). Once uninstalled, confirm that the Agent is also uninstalled, which should happen if you were to use the uninstall tool.
