Full System Scan not working to its full potential

Had you previously run a System scan? If so, Bitdefender indexes file that have not been modified or changed during the following scans in order the help the scans to go more quickly. All files that are opened or modified are scanned automatically with the real-time AV scanning engine.
If you wanted to scan all the files all the time, you could create a Custom Scan and disable the Scan only new and modified files, option.
