Automatic renewal of subscription

I have just purchased Bitdefender total security from the Computer Active on line store using a snipca link. Downloaded and running ok, but I want to make sure my subscription is subject to my manual renewal only. I have looked at some of the recommendations on this forum but, try as I might, I cannot find any links to manage my payments. Is there a different process to be followed if the purchase was not made direct from Bitdefender? Thanks in anticipation

    Did you try Method 2, from this link, and see that option in your Central account My Subscriptions?

    @Alexandru_BD, I've wondered the same thing, will all payments no matter where the transaction is made from, somehow be linked to 2Checkout/Digital River? At times, we suggest Method 1. I just want to be sure on my end as well in how that works for future reference.

    The Bitdefender security solutions purchased from the official website come with an automatic renewal feature that allows you to conveniently retain your protection when your Bitdefender subscription expires, without having to go through all the motions of manually renewing your cyber-security solution.

    In the event the license was purchased from a Bitdefender Partner and reseller, usually you are not enrolled in a subscription, unless stated otherwise at the point of sale. This particularly applies for off-the-shelf software packages or the majority of electronic licenses purchased from various resellers that partner with us.

    So to conclude here, if you were not informed about enrolling in a subscription at the point of sale, your license will not be automatically renewed and the transaction won't be displayed in the 'My Payments' tab in Central, because the order was not made through our vendor 2Checkout/Verifone.

  • That is indeed most helpful Alexandru. It was at the point in activating that in checking the license agreement it seemed to suggest that automatic renewal would be charged against the card details of the original purchase unless I subsequently cancelled the automatic renewal. Hence that is why I was trying to find the link to do this on my account. Many thanks for your confirmation of how things stand.
