Does the VPN Notification work differently for each version of Bitdefender?

On my Windows 10 PC, I have enabled the VPN icon from the Taskbar settings to display in the System Tray. When you're connected, the shield will turn red with a green check mark. When you disconnect, the shield will turn white. You can also hover your mouse cursor over your Network icon which will show you your network status, in this case showing VPN Connection 3. On my Android phone, when I connect to the VPN (I have the separate Premium VPN app) it will show the icon at the top of the phone when it's connected. When I disconnect, the icon also turns off. I'm sure it works the same as the one in the Mobile Security version.
