uninstall/reinstall

When I use the un-install/re-install feature, are my settings put back, like I had them before the un-install?

    If you do a complete uninstall and re-install, you will lose all of your previous settings. If you run a repair, some of your settings may be saved and some lost. If you have a lot of custom firewall rules, I wouldn't count on all of them being saved, just in case. But, we don't get a lot of feedback regarding that outcome. There is no ability in Bitdefender to back up/export your settings to import them on a re-install.

    Hi Scott,

    I did the uninstall/install and it fixed my problem with the Bitdefender task bar icon. I did have to go in and do some of my settings again, but no biggie.
