Does Bitdefender do anything to the Windows 10 Registry?
Bitdefender optimization indicates all registry items are good. Another optimization routine indicates a large number of registry files can be deleted because of no data or missing parameters. This started after I first installed Bitdefender. I don't want to delete the Registry files if Bitdefender has modified them in some way.

Microsoft does not recommend the use of registry optimizers in general. There are exceptions, of course. Personally, I don't even use the Bitdefender One-Click Optimizer.
You mention "another optimization routine." Without knowing which one, I can not offer advice, but I would suggest that you read the Microsoft Support policy.
There are a lot of companies making a lot of money convincing people that they need to clean and optimize their registry. My personal experience with one apparently "reputable" computer care program was that their driver updater and registry cleaner left me with a broken computer years ago when I was young and stupid.
There is a general consensus in the computer community that a lot of these products are just "snake oil" and should be avoided. Save yourself some money and save your computer.
NOTE: These are MY personal views only. I do not speak for Bitdefender nor claim to represent their views in any way.
Thank you, and have a great day.

Phil

Hello.
Bitdefender filtering is less agressive than other registry cleaners.
If the OneClick optimization does not find any optimization for the Registry keys, then it means there are none.
But, if you wanna use deeper and more agressive registry cleaning, you should use other registry cleaning programs like: Glary Utilities, CCleaner, Advanced System Care, Auslogics Boost Speed etc.
Regards.
