Cannot load bitdefender
Since purchase on 22 Nov 23 I've not been able to install bitdefender. The furthest I've managed is tp get to this page
How should I proceed?

Was Bitdefender already installed prior to your new purchase? I'm afraid the information is insufficient for us to figure out what exactly is happening there.. I think this message may have multiple possible causes, including another security solution that's present on the device where you are trying to install Bitdefender, or even a network issue or remnants of a previous installation.

BitDefender installed (attempted anyway) after purchase and advised another two AVs needed removing. I let BD carry this out automatically but it left remnants of TotalAV behind. These have now been removed, including the irritating requests to sign up again from TotalAV yet BD still won't load beyond an inoperable Bitdefender Agent.

I suspected another AV was also installed on the device. The best way to remove them is by using the relevant uninstall tools provided by the vendor. I think you should start a fresh Bitdefender installation in this case. Start by removing any components of Bitdefender that were already installed, to make sure you are starting from scratch. Download and run the uninstall tool corresponding to your Bitdefender version from this location. Then follow the steps provided in the article below to perform a clean install:

Before you reinstall Bitdefender, make sure you remove the device/devices from the online Bitdefender Central by checking the link stated below
