Getting Update To Bitdefender Internet Security 2009

Tried to update and keep getting following error message: an error occurred during the update (could not connect) If the problem persist, please contact Bitdefender support (contact information available in about section)


I have three computers on network and this in the only one with this problem. Checked address and gateway info and it turns out to be ok. Can anyone help??

    Have you contacted the support like the messege says?


    Have you checked your router settings(,firewall) and your network computer settings.


    Do other programs update properly?


    Disable the http scan option and the other net filtering options(messengers,etc) and try again.


    Please say more information about your system to see if there may be a conflict with some other security suite,firewall,etc


    Please mention the OS used and the security patches you have installed.


    As a general suggestion, reinstalling the aplication should solve the problem.
