Disable my VPN? Why?
Why is it that I am not able to use my cell carriers android app, or my banks online-banking app (both running the most current versions from the Google Play Store) unless I have first turned off my Bitdefender VPN? Once I'm in those apps, I go right back to turn my on my VPN to complete my necessary transactions that need attention. That's why I need a VPN in the first place, right?! How do I get through this??? Thank you. Currently using a HMD Global Nokia X100 5G (2022) mobile device.

The banking app might be blocking the VPN connection. This could be related to an additional verification process on the bank side, where if a secure environment such as Safepay or let's say a VPN encryption is being used, it triggers some warnings on their end. I don't think all banks require this, but there are cases where, due to the over vigilance of several banks, connecting a VPN for example often triggers fraud warnings when you use it to conduct your online banking.
