Is BitDefender Total Security causing my samsung galaxy s10 to stop charging at 85%?

For the past few weeks, my mobile will not charge 100%. The charging stops at 85%.

Could Bitdefender Total Security cause this problem? I'm wondering if it could be the Bitdefender settings I followed to stop BitDefender Web Security browsing from constantly auto deactivating?

Is there a way you can have 100% full charge and simultaneously keep BitDefender web browsing protection on without automatically dropping off?

Prior to loading Bitdefender, my phone faithfully fully charged to 100%.

That sounds like a feature from Samsung called Protect Battery.

I have an old Galaxy S7 and a new Galaxy S21. Both are running BD Mobile Security. Both charge to 100% and always have. Web protection is enabled on both phones.

The link below might be of assistance. An update might have activated "Protect Battery," if that is the cause and it has nothing to do with Bitdefender Mobile Security.

Oh, I haven't had "battery protection" on since installing BD Total Security so the cause of this is still a mystery to me.🤔

So far, no problems with the battery charging, it always charges to 100%.
