i am resending what looks like i never asked but ok.

i have a few questions as a new user of this service:

1. what are these badgesthat i earn per upgrade for what particular purpose?
2. how do i earn these rewards?
3. what are any of the bidefener rewards for?
4. how does this support my account?
5. and will this ensure more device security?

Badges help promote participation and commitment to our community, and serve to recognize and reward accomplishments and forum participation. They are a gamification feature widely spread on forums. All badges are configured with criteria that determine how and when they're awarded. The criteria can be:

• action-based (e.g., the user uploads a profile picture),
• threshold-based (e.g., user has been a member for five years), and
• reaction-based (e.g., user’s comment received five likes).

The flexibility of badges means that users can be directly and indirectly awarded for their participation; and when a user earns a badge, it displays on their profile where others can see how engaged they have been.

2) How do I earn these rewards?

The above criteria for awarding badges applies.

3) What are any of the Bitdefender rewards for?

On the forum, the badges and leaderboards are designed to encourage participation. They're an important part of the online community environment and they give active members well deserved recognition.

4) How does this support my account?

If you are referring to your Bitdefender Central account, the forum badges and leaderboards are unrelated. These elements are only available in the Bitdefender Expert Community.

5) And will this ensure more device security?

Your forum activity does not influence the security of your devices. The antivirus will take care of that. The Expert Community is an environment where Bitdefender users, enthusiasts and fans can engage, exchange ideas, support eachother and share their knowledge and solutions. It is also a place of ideation and provides valuable feedback to the product development teams.
