Why is my vpn exposed?

I have paid for VPN and my Ip address keeps getting exposed. I am not happy with this as that means people/hackers have access to my personal information and I am currently doing post graduate studies. This is not good enough. Can you please help me with solutions to resolve this?

Can you tell us how did you reach the conclusion that your IP address is being exposed while connected to the VPN?
