BDTS keeps blocking Trojan and Phishing screens...how do I remove root cause?
I keep getting BD screens stopping a rogue phishing site from opening. However, I dont seem to be able to eradicate it despite running multiple scans. It happened mostly in Duck Duck Go browser so I deleted that. Now its happening with Firefox. I have an expired McAfee on the tablet and it comes up showing 5 pieces of malware and wanting me to buy another subscription. However, I thought BD would take care of this stuff? I bought a master sub and have it on multiple devices but it seems to be inappropriate for my Samsung tablet.....Help?

1) Download Norton Clean, Junk Removal from the stated link (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.symantec.cleansweep&hl=en&gl=US) or from your Play Store app on your Android device.
You can also download CCleaner – Phone Cleaner from the stated link (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.piriform.ccleaner&hl=en&gl=US) or from your Play Store app on your Android device.
2) Reset Google Chrome to default settings on your Android (https://malwaretips.com/blogs/how-to-reset-chrome-browser-settings-on-android-phone/).
3) The best way to be secure from adware is to use an ad-blocking & privacy browser such as Ghostery (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghostery.android.ghostery&hl=en&gl=US) or Adblock (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.adblockplus.browser&hl=en&gl=US). Download it from your Play Store app on your Android device.
4) Make sure you have Bitdefender Free or Bitdefender paid mobile security updated. The free one lacks web protection, which protects from phishing or malicious websites.
This should help.
