Restore point
Windows 11 pro (23H2) and I still have problems using restore points if I don't uninstall bit defender first. I have been using bit defender for 8+ years and still I have this problem. Does anyone else get the system restore failed, and in the list is might of been your security program

Welcome to the Bitdefender Forums. It is well known that anti-virus programs of all kinds interfere with restoring System Restore points, as well as other programs. I have never had to uninstall Bitdefender to restore a point.
Boot into Safe Mode and restore from there. In Safe Mode, Bitdefender and many other programs that can potentially interfere with a successful restore are disabled. Once the restore is successful, reboot back into normal boot mode.
