Block PDFinders.exe from being downloaded?
Good day! I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but is there a way to block "PDFinders.exe" from even being downloaded? I don't have a specific site that it's coming from, but several of my PCs show it in the Downloads folder of various users. The Gravityzone scans detect it and delete it, but I'd love to just stop it before it can even download.

Hello @Jimmy Madden ,
Strictly for blocking the file from being downloaded you can try by adding an entry in the Web Access Control in order to check every URL for this pattern.
But you will have to try different combinations as I cannot guarantee that it will be blocked for all websites.
Another option is to block it from running using one of the following methods:
- Using the Content Control → Application Blacklisting where you ca create a new Application rule for blocking PDFinders.exe either by path or by name
- The second option (only if you have GravityZone Enterprise license) you can add a new entry in the Incident - > Blocklist tab where you can block the files by name, path or even hash.
Kind Regards,
Andrei
