Avc Detected Sandisk Backup Manager As Malicious

AVC detected SanDisk Backup Manager for Ultra Backup Flash Memory as Potentially Malicious and I have to select "Allow and Monitor" from Event Module.


Also would you like to elaborate "Allow and Monitor"?

    Could you please tell us the process name that AVC detected as harmful? If it's "SanDisk_Button_Manager.exe", it should be already fixed. You should remove the file from the "excepted processes" list, and check whether it's still detected or not.


    "Allow and monitor" means that AVC will still monitor the application, but it won't report it as harmful anymore.

    A couple of days ago ,an odd thing happened to my Bitdefender, that the Events Module and the Exclusions for Processes have been cleared. Therefore I need some time to replicate the said issue.


    May be I re-install my Bitdefender.
