Vsserv.exe Error Message

Hi Christi,


I have same problem as Brian..on full scan it freezes and error message appears .."vsserv.exe unavailable etc..."


please send me an email with solution as I have 3 computers to update. I am using Bit Defender Internet Security 2012.

    I got the same problem also in my Total Security 2012

    Hey I'm having the same problem on two computers. Just Installed Total Security Last night and when it updated something and restarted both of them gave me this message. One is a HP dv7-4267cl(OS- win 7 home premium 64 bit) and the other is HP mini 110-3118cl(OS- win 7 starter 32 bit). Please help!!! I will send you the link you asked for if you give me your email.

  • Ditto for me. High CPU on the vsserv - running win 7.


    I'm collecting the support info and can send it


    I also noticed in Windows- Resource Monitor that when vsserv is running hot it has multiple copies running against multiple files when there is no scheduled scan to be run
