Bsod Can Anyone Help Please
Hi,
I installed Bitdefender 2012 last night and today have have many BSOD's. I can see minidumps on the hard drive but am not clever enough to know what to do next.
Using Win7 64 bit pro. Not had a BSOD until today.
Is there anywher/anyone I can send the dumps to?
Thanks

I, too, am having BSODs with AV 2012. This is a brand-new Windows 7 64 PC, I disabled Windows Firewall and had no other antivirus/ security software installed or running during the installation and subsequent full-scan of the system when I also received a BSOD. Can I simply follow the same instructions you gave to magpiesrus to seek your assistance? After reading numerous reviews, I have decided to trial Bitdefender, but cannot justify the purchase unless I can get it to work with my system.
Thanks much in advance!0 -

I did similiar on the 2010 & 2011 versions new hard drive clean install etc.
Told by BD that I must have had a old AV program on it, uninstall it (Something that was not there in the first place)!!!
Re-load BD
Then Re-format & try again.
To save repeating myself the same recipies for the same problems that are years old.
Don't the tech support get tired of repeating themselves year in year out.
Find a solution to the problem is it that difficult, if so re-write the program & make sure it works correctly before release date ie 2013 you have 12 months.0 -
Hi Boora
BSOD cases are specific, so I can give you a verdict without analyzing some logs.
Please follow the steps described here and send me those logs.
