Bdcoreissues Leaking Threads On Mac Version

Hi,


I tried to use the Contact us interface to submit this, but it claims my license key is invalid, which is horse hockey since I purchased my subscription to Bit Defender Sphere a few months ago. Anyway, here it goes:


BDCoreIssues is leaking threads badly and degrading system performance. The last time I checked, there were 269 "UserTool" threads spawned from BDCoreIssues on my Mac. After stopping the BDCoreIssues process, they are starting to accumulate again. I'm running Lion on a 24", 3 year old iMac.


Before:

They are obviously scheduled as they increase in number by one every hour. Is there a fix for this issue?


Please let me know if there is any other information needed.

    I see the ticket listed under my open tickets section in the support interface, but I can't click on it or view it in anyway. I received an email the other day that if I did not respond the ticket would be automatically closed. I emailed the support address stating that I could not view the ticket, but never received a response. This is very disconcerting that my license code is not recognized, I can't view my own ticket and I get no response from emailing support.


    Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

    It has been over a month since my ticket was opened and I have not had one shred of contact from anyone other than your assistance via this thread. Regrettably, I must therefore conclude that there will be no effort to resolve my issue or retain me as a paying customer. As of this post, I am removing all instances of this product from my equipment and will proactively warn friends and associates against purchasing this or any products related to Bitdefender and from its creators.
