Windows 7 Restart During The Full Scan
hey,
I have a problem when I do a full scan with the internet security 2013. the PC restart 13 min after the full scan. ( There is a blue screen error before it restart )
I have the same problem with the 2012 version
I have windows 7 and the trial of internet security 2013 and 2012, any of those two work with the full scan, but i can do a contextual scan of each partion of the PC, and its work onlythis way

Try to scan from Rescue Mode. Read from Bitdefender help about Rescue Mode.
OR
Create Custom Scan and check for every options one by one (I mean select one by one), which one is causing the BSOD. Although its time consuming but it will be helpful in finding the cause.

Hey ONT,
I cant do the Rescue Mode Scan, there is just a balck screen after it boot in Rescue mode (I select from the boot screen) and the black screen stay there until I restart the PC manually.
I will try the custom Scan with each partition and options

-Open Bitdefender using the icon from your Desktop.
-In the bottom right corner you have "Help & support" section, please click on it.
-In the new window, click on the last option, "Contact Support".
-Check the option “By checking this box, I agree to allow Bitdefender Support Tool gather Bitdefender related information from my system” and click on “Next”.
-Please provide a valid e-mail address/Name/Country/Issue description.
-The tool will collect the logs from your PC, please be patient.
-When everything is finished, an archive will be created on your Desktop.
Upload that archive on:

and send me a PM with the download link.
If you were already asked to generate the log file, disregard the message above and just post the ticket ID.

Hi Christain...just installed BDIS 2013 to test on my main machine before giving up the 2012 ghost....is there an answer for the problem dishw was having. My first "full scan" suggested I run 'Rescue Mode'.....rebooted and same issue as dishw...screen flickered a couple times with text to fast to read...then frozen black screen(s) ? Also have to restart system to get back into windows ?
Is there a fix for this ? Had never tried "Rescue Mode" in 2012...
