Potential Dangerous File

A copied file out of an rar file was identified as potential dangerous and process stopped.

The file contains no virus - I have tested it with various online scanners. Allthough I entered this process into the list of not dangerous files - I am not able to copy this file into the folder I tried before. What else must I change to copy this file in its correct folder?

I only found one way: copy into another folder and rename it and then once more copy into the correct folder. But this is not what I want !!

how do I get the rights back to copy this file into the previous (first) folder?

  • Hi and welcome to our forums.

Please pack that file in archive with the password infected and send me a PM with it.

If the file is too big to attach it, upload it on

    http://www.sendspace.com

    or

    http://www.mediafire.com

and send me a PM with the download link.

We will analyze the information you sent and then reply with a possible solution in the shortest time.

Hi I was not allowed to upload this file here - do not know why.

So I uploaded it to sendspace.

Remember: the file allone is not infected. Bitdefender stoppes the process when I try to install this chess engine into the Chess GUI named Shredder and deleted it. So I think it is not easy for you to find out what happens, as I am sure, you do not have the Chess Program Shredder.exe (see www.shredder.com)

Now I am not able to copy it again into this folder, only with another name.

So how do I get the rights back to copy this file on my computer?
